You learn faster with ChatGPT when you stop asking it to explain more and start asking it to test you. Reading another explanation feels productive, but I nod along like I get it, and I don't. So I use two prompts. One is the Feynman technique, where I explain the topic back like I'm teaching a new hire and it points out where I'm vague or wrong. The other is a quiz, one question at a time, with a score and the two things to go back over at the end.
ChatGPT also has a built-in study mode that does a lot of this for you. OpenAI says on its study mode help page that it asks you questions, gives feedback on your answers and can quiz you one question at a time, and you turn it on from Tools in a regular chat by picking Study and learn. It's on every plan. The same page says it can make mistakes, so I'd still check anything I'm going to act on with an official source. The quiz prompt and the Feynman prompt are both in my guide to the prompts that make ChatGPT teach you.
