Higgsfield MCP is Higgsfield's connector for AI apps like Claude: you add one link, https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, and Claude can use Higgsfield's image and video models right from your chat. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, which is just the standard plug that lets an AI app use another company's tools. Higgsfield's MCP page says it gives you 30+ models for image and video with no API key, and it works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and other apps that speak MCP.
So the part I care about is what it lets you skip. You type what you want in Claude, and Claude calls Higgsfield for you, so you're not bouncing between tabs or dragging keyframes around by hand. On top of the models there are bundled workflows, like Katana, which remakes a reference edit or one of its presets with your own subject, words and pacing. It isn't free, though. You need a paid Higgsfield plan, and every generation through the connector uses credits. My step-by-step guide to connecting Higgsfield to Claude has the setup, a cheap first Katana test and the fixes for what breaks.
